Maybe somebody saw the test locomotive
from Wabtec. It is a battery locomotive that is being tested in
cooperation with BNSF. Currently at the Tehachapi Pass.
The locomotive has completed the test runs
on the Tehachapi Loop and is on its way back to Chicago via Barstow.
For this project, I had to plan various milled parts made of polystyrene and parts made of brass. |

These custom made etched brass parts (panels)
are needed to create this particular locomotive. They were made by "Saemann Ätztechnick Company". |

| Today I finished the “shell work” on the Wabtec locomotive. This is followed by filling work and then the fine detailing. This model is probably the most complex project that I have made to date. |
