| June 8, 2026: Rolling into history! Today, CSX unveiled two commemorative locomotives honoring America’s 250th anniversary — a tribute to the spirit, service, and strength that have helped shape this country for generations. CSX President and CEO Steve Angel said, “We are proud to celebrate this unique American legacy and the people who have made it possible.” |

CM44AHs Nos. 250 and 2026 are the railroad’s America 250 locomotives Both locomotives were painted at CSX’s Waycross, GA shop. Each locomotive features a distinct design. No. 250 celebrates America’s anniversary year with a stars and stripes theme, while No. 2026 features the American bald eagle and the phrase “United We Stand.” |
